Stainless-steel welding table serves as ‘foundation’ for new machines
A. Hagoort Besturingstechniek specialises in mechanical construction and industrial automation. They cover everything from design to construction under one roof. The team takes care of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, machine construction, panel construction, software development, robotics, and installation and service. Together with their clients, they create custom machines that aren’t on the market yet. As those machines are made of stainless steel they cannot be contaminated by ‘regular’ steel. This is why the company uses a stainless-steel welding table from Lastafelshop as a foundation for innovations for which welding is needed.
Frits Doornbos, work planner at A. Hagoort Besturingstechniek, shares why they decided to work with this welding table: ‘We bought our first stainless-steel welding table from Lastafelshop 12 years ago. In the meantime, we moved to a larger building with a bigger workshop. We wanted a second welding table identical to the first one. The photos show the prototype of a machine they recently developed: the DirectRoaster. This is an energy-friendly machine that roasts coffee beans precisely and evenly. At the moment, the prototype is undergoing extensive testing by the client. Frits shares: ‘This machine was also developed on top of a stainless-steel welding table. You can mount tools and accessories to the table, which makes working with a welding table even more convenient. We’re more than satisfied.’
